In September 2022, GSS Developments purchased the former Continental Tyres Factory Site.

There have been a series of proposals for the site over the years, but following discussions with Edinburgh City Council, GSS has submitted a ‘Proposal of Application Notice’ to support advancing plans for a new commercial business park.

The proposal includes plans to create a light industrial development for trade counter and logistics including EV charging hub as well as improved local amenities, infrastructure, landscaping, and site access.

The expansive brownfield site has remained derelict since the factory closed in 1999 and now presents a unique opportunity to bring jobs and investment to Newbridge.

The well-known site sits within easy reach of Edinburgh Airport and is connected nationally via road networks with easy access to the M8, M9, M90 and the Edinburgh City Bypass from the location.

2 Semple Street

GSS Developments is extremely proud to deliver this exceptional office development in the heart of Edinburgh Financial district. 2 Semple Street was completed in August 2018 and set a new benchmark for speculative office development in Scotland’s Capital City.

37 Albyn Place

37 Albyn Place is a stone’s throw away from Union Street with a few small bars, sandwich shops, and convenience stores nearby. In early 2021, the building underwent a significant transformation as GSS invested in upgrades and refurbishment to provide the latest IT & Communications Systems, and first-class facilities. Cirrus & Stratus Buildings
6 International Avenue, ABZ Business Park

In 2013 GSS Developments purchased from ABZ Business Park a prominent two acre plot at 6 International Avenue, ABZ Business Park. Having speculatively developed the Cirrus Building, comprises two-storey high quality open plan office pavilion, GSS went on to agree a transaction with global business centre operator Regus to run ABZ Business Park’s first serviced office operation.

GSS have since gone on to commence speculatively development the adjoining Stratus building. This second building comprises three-storey open plan office pavilion benefiting from market leading landlord specification.
